Meet rebeka: your expat specialist
We understand that as an expat, finding healthcare in a new country comes with unique challenges. That’s why we’d like to introduce you to Rebeka, our physiotherapist and expat specialist who knows exactly what you’re going through.

Why Rebeka gets you
This sporty Czech-American brings international flair and expertise to our team.

First visit
What to expect during your first visit
Your initial appointment is all about understanding you and your needs. Here’s what happens:

A warm welcome (5 minutes)
We’ll greet you like a friend and make sure you feel comfortable. Bring your ID for verification; your health insurance card is helpful but optional.

Your story matters (10 minutes)
We’ll listen to your concerns, understand your pain or injury, and learn about your daily activities and goals. This isn’t a rushed medical interrogation—it’s a genuine conversation.

Physical assessment (10 minutes)
We’ll examine the affected area to understand what’s causing your complaints. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area and lets you move freely.
Note: While we can examine you through clothing, certain techniques like dry needling and taping require direct skin contact.

Clear explanation (5 minutes)
We’ll explain what’s going on in language you understand—no confusing medical terminology. You’ll get a clear picture of your condition and what we can do to help.

Treatment plan together (5 minutes)
We’ll discuss a personalized treatment plan, including how many sessions you might need and what you can do at home to speed up recovery.

Optional: first treatment
If time allows and it’s appropriate, we may start your first treatment during this visit.
